Life app. Bible-

Unbelief and rejection breaks God's heart, because He knows the consequences. But when the door of the human heart is shut, He refuses to enter forcibly. He will only knock, wanting to gain admittance. He has given us the ability to choose. But when we choose the wrong thing, He knows the repercussions that will follow—in this life and the one to come.

blogging "my tattoos"

was out for the first time …seems like a year…Friday around 6 pm no kids!! for Jaylee’s ice cream social to get to know her 3rd grade teacher. So many people sporting tattoos! Jaron likes to “tag” so it seems “tagging” the body has become cool. People walked too fast to get a good look! It is really colorful and before they speak I get a sense of “them“, I think it’s kinda like wearing your best clothes only you can never change them. At 52 now my thoughts feelings and out look on life have completely changed from 20-30 and 40 … I am sure will keep changing as I grow older and more experienced in life…anyways * smells *many people, buildings* weather* so much to see I feel so far away from life.

Jaylee had a church sleepover and told me she couldn’t sleep because I did not give her my shirt. Bedtime routine requires prayer and the giving up of my t shirt worn that day, it’s funny she wears the shirt over her Jammies at night. By the end of the week her unicorn has 2-3 t shirts on besides collecting mine every night. Almost every drawing she draws whether at home or school always has her and I together “walking flying” not in the wheel chair. How funny Jaylee sees me and how I see me….Kids go back to school on Monday, I am glad they are doing something it tends to get monotonous at home and I worry they will become apathetic and lazy. My wish for them is to live and serve God and to not be afraid. It has been 3 years now of being house bound and it terrifies me that this is best I have…I see myself rolling back as everyone goes forward…it can get disheartening but God is with me and sometimes I have peace and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I wish and sometimes I dream…then I open the Bible.                                                                                                                                                      You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

I recently went to a concert for Three Days Grace...talk about an abundance of tattoos both on the band and the crowd! Times have certainly changed! I am my kids teacher so starting the season is always a lot of work for me...especially when a month into it we head abroad where I continue the schooling...never a dull moment.

Ni Nancy, love the pictures. I can't believe it's almost back to school time as it seems like Summer just started here a few weeks ago. As far as tattoos go, people seem to be going overboard as now they have them on their necks, faces, and everywhere. I have one on my upper arm that I got when I was young and in my pre-Christian partying phase. And although it's just a bird carrying a heart, I'm glad that it doesn't show. I hope that you have a nice week!

Hi Joe Hi Gerry! Sounds like everyone is busy living! Tattoos are kinda odd, they give people insights to what they were thinking =]! Our oldest has a couple of big ones {Navy] Certainly colorful and fascinating when I see them! So good to hear from you Gerry and Joe, how awesome to travel! Can't wait for the pics, I get the best seat in the house with my computer and YOUR pics! I enjoy the learning process =], safe trip Joe and family.

Hi Nancy so nice to hear from you. Well someday I am going to get a tattoo. Almost did a couple summers ago but they didn't have what I wanted. I want something that represents my love of nature and preserving it. You are right about the tatoo often representing what people belive or hold close to thier hearts. Your daughters pics are so cute. You will fly like a angel one day and visit all those places you dream about. Hugs Carrie

Hi Nancy, It is good to see your update here on Blogger. I love the pictures that your dear sweet Jaylee drew. She is very creative, and you can tell she adores you. I think that is so cute, her wearing your t-shirt each night. What a Blessing she is to you, and you to her.:)

I am not a big fan of tattoos but to each their own, and if it is not life threatening, or harming others, then I guess it is no big deal.:)It all comes down to personal choice.

I hope you are having a nice day. I wanted to say hello, and let you know I am thinking of you today.
God Bless you in whatever way He sees fit. Take care my dear sister in the Lord.
Love and Hugs
Dianne :)

Hi Carrie and Dianne, so sorry I have not responded sooner..life and reality give me alot less time. Thank you for being so kind of Jaylee's drawings. These days I noticed her drawings are changing and she will draw numerous ones to tell a story. I have also noticed she is picking up techniques from others and is trying them out...could be another artist in the family =]..Eddie is still doing chemo and had another mishap at work that involves stitches but is ok...just going thru changes, God is with me though...I get weary and He carries me =]..take care Carrie and Dianne, thanks for stopping by =].

Hi Nancy , Since leaving Facebook I have lost touch with so many it seems and have gotten messages from a few here and there. As I read your blog I started to think about tattoos and it is an art form and also self expression. I believe that what you give out to the world people will then have the picture of you no matter what it may be. Some are done in taste and some are really out there. My daughter has a small on behind one ear and my son has two . My Dad also had one on his arm. . Even my Mom did get a tattoo at the age of 60. Its fun and funny to see. Everyone and to each there own I guess. The Big thing is too what you believe , where you stand and keep peace love and balance thought it all in the good and bad. Life just is the and is a stepping stone to where we will all be going.

Sorry to read you have had cancer in your family fold.

Anyways I was just stopping to wish you a Happy and Blessed New Year and see so many faces of those I hold near and dear.

You have been a blessing each time I come by here.

Have a Blessed Year

Lisa xo
